*This linen has the classic unbalanced plain weave characteristic of linen. It is fairly medium weight with a fusible-like coating on the back, which makes it a bit stiffer and more durable. Though originally suited for upholstery use, this linen has a great drape and is suitable for bottom weight apparel or outerwear.

These fabrics are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
